What Should I Expect?

As you approach our meeting location, you’ll see some Connection Point Church signs.  Some of our members will will be standing outside to greet you as you enter and to welcome you to our church.  Since our church meets in different locations from time to time, we will always try to make you feel welcome as you enter.

We will quickly show you where you can drop your kids off for our Connectkids ministry. You can feel secure that your kids will have a great time while they learn about the Bible!

Because we are a new church, we like to be comfortable around each other.  One way we do this is with nametags.  We understand that name tags can be a bit intrusive, but it can be overwhelming for our guest to try to remember the names of many new friends all at once.

The doors open for the main service at 10:30am.  We will NOT embarrass you or point you out in our service.  Our goal is to be a connection point for you and God, as well as you and our church family.  Our worship band will lead us in some upbeat worship songs and our pastor will preach a passionate (he doesn’t yell too much), Biblical sermon.

If you have any more questions about your upcoming visit to Connection Point Church, you may call our pastor, Joel Halpin, at 214-302-9569, or email him at joel@connectionpointchurch.net.  We look forward to meeting you!
